Health insurance can be super confusing. That’s why we are more than willing to help you understand what your behavioral health coverage is - or isn’t.

When you request to schedule your first appointment we will ask you for your health insurance information. We will contact your insurance company to verify your eligibility and behavioral health benefits.

While we try to be as accurate as possible when verifying benefits, your fees may change depending on your eligibility and benefits during the date of your sessions. We won't know your exact fee until we bill your insurance and get your explanation of benefits back from your insurance company. You are also encouraged to call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask your member representative what your 'mental health, outpatient, office visit' benefits are.

Emotional Health Partners uses a HIPAA compliant electronic health record to store all client information confidentially. As part of our practice policies, you will be asked to use an up-to-date credit or debit card for all co-pays, co-insurance payments, or outstanding balance. You will be fully reimbursed if you are ever overcharged.

If you have insurance coverage that we are not currently working with, and you’d still like to schedule an appointment, you’ll be expected to pay the full fee at the time of the session. We are able to provide you with a receipt for you to submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. We can also file the claim on your behalf for your reimbursement.

Some employers offer Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). These are contracts your employer has with a company to ensure you are taking care of yourself. One of the ways they support you is by offering a certain amount of counseling sessions “on them” at minimal or no cost to you because it’s a part of your benefit package. Check with your employer’s human resources representative to see what possible benefits you have for EAP behavioral health coverage.

Also accepting private pay and health savings accounts. Please contact Emotional Health Partners to discuss rates.

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to give us a call at any time.

After requesting your appointment you will receive a confirmation email with additional required intake information. Your requested appointment day and time will be held for 24 hours until this information is complete.
