Have you found yourself wondering what to do with complex thoughts and feelings you have around your childhood experiences? Are you someone who has spent much of their life feeling like it was your job to carry the burden of other people's feelings? An adult adoptee who has never had a space that allows you to process every piece of what that means? Maybe a couple who wants to be more connected but just doesn't know how?

No matter what the next step looks like for you, it is worth noticing that you found your way here.

My name is Brielle Wilson (she/her) and I am a Provisionally Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in Trauma, with a special focus on childhood trauma, former foster youth and adoptees, and couples. It is important to me to maintain a space that is safe, attuned, and focuses on strengths and resilience.

Families can be challenging, and that becomes even harder to navigate when we experience things like family separation, childhood trauma, and any combination of adverse events. My primary focus is on helping you process those experiences, learn the meaning that has been made from those experiences, and collaborate with you in moving forward in your story with the pen in your hand.

My lens is systemic and this allows me to understand that no one lives inside of a vacuum. Families are systems where each person has a role and everyone impacts each other for better or worse. This approach informs the way we process experiences and make meaning of them. It also helps us to find solutions and unique outcomes. I have an integrative style pulling from parts work, Narrative therapy, somatic work, Solution Focused Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, emotionally-focused work, and Collaborative therapy.

You deserve a safe space to process all of your experiences without judgement, and I hope to be a part of your journey.
